SmallWorld’s intervention in Jordan reflects a long-term commitment to child protection, healthcare access, and dignity for vulnerable girls.
In 2011, SmallWorld partnered with the Hamzah Bin Abd Al Muttalib Association, a respected local organization dedicated to the care of orphans and children from low-income communities, with a particular focus on girls’ education, health, and social wellbeing.
Founded in 1984, the Association operates an orphanage and an integrated medical clinic in a densely populated and underserved area, supporting both resident children and the surrounding community, including families affected by poverty and displacement.
SmallWorld’s contribution directly supported the daily needs of 20 orphaned girls, covering food, clothing, education, and medical expenses, while strengthening access to essential healthcare services for those unable to pay.
This partnership demonstrates how targeted humanitarian support, delivered through trusted local institutions, can create measurable social impact, foster resilience, and uphold the rights and dignity of children in vulnerable settings.
